Yeh me too.although I don't know what to think anymore.I've just read loads on 0 ugh levels and still pregnant.I know if this level is low thats it.but my problem is I need to stop taking the tablets,I cant wait on the off chance I am for like 18 weeks till I show.if there is a baby then the baby needs the climaval and progesterone.but I've been told to stop it as I was told I miscarried.and today been told to take it cos I'm having the hcg tomorrow.I'm not sure what to think anymore.
So glad you want to a different doctor that is listening to you and is going the extra leg to make sure that you and your baby is OK, keep us posted and good luck
Just been to another doctor actually found one who cares....and she has said there is a small chance I could still be pregnant.because I have a problem with mu thyroid it could well mess with the hcg.so to carry on with my medication.she has said I can have a hcg tomorrow to find out for sure.if this is low then it's obviously I'm miscarrying.
But I dont think I can have a baby normally.I have a thyroid problems and don't have periods.only brought on by the pill.so don't think I'd be able to...would love too tho.I'm also Still bleeding over a week now :((
I'm sorry. The one bright side is that it is said that in the months immediately following a miscarriage, you are more fertile. I hope this for you.
Just done a hpt and is negative.
I think, since you asked, that you would not have a sticky-out uterus so soon. Not until your 7th week at the earliest, and even then, it would only manifest as difficulty sitting a long time (like, in the car) with the button of your jeans buttoned. Unfortunately, the numbers are not in your favor. 18 is a very low hCG count so long after the transfer. Even if it were a singleton, it is not a good number, my doc looked for at least 25 (preferred 50) 14 days after transfer. I hope you get the news you want, but would caution you to be ready to find out otherwise. I'm sorry.
I suggested could it be a twin and was told no the levels are too low.but I've seen on a lot of the forums that when you bleed it messes the hcg levels up.I plan on doing another home pregnancy test in the morning but as I'm still bleeding I'm guessing it'll be negative.I just think because I also have a thyroid problem and am on hydrocortisone and levothyroxine that the levels could also be messed up.what do you two think from what I've said? Vanishing twin or miscarriage? I was also bleeding before I got a positive pregnancy test.and my belly what's that all about the expanding..to me it looks like my uterus coming out.
If your hCG level was 18 on day 16, I think that is why they said you didn't have a vanished twin. But you should be able to talk them into one more blood test just to be certain. If they will not, ask your regular ob-gyn for one.
Take another pregnancy test. If it's positive then you're still pregnant. Call them back and make another appointment.
