I am 21 and I was on BCP for 3 years and I stopped taking them in Dec 2006 and my periods started gettting lighter and shorter and irregular since I stopped taking them and now my I haven't had one at all for two months. I went to my gyn and he checked everything only to say that I wasn't ovulating every month and recommended I take BCP to make my periods regular but I didn't want to start back because I was going to start trying to get pregnant. What should I do ? Also my aunt has endo Is that hereditary?

You should ask your doc if there is anything else you can do or take to help you ovulate seeing as that your wanting to get pregnant.  Did you let him know that?  Also what is endome.?
