??? Confused.com???

Hi, I am driving myself mad!!! Can anyone help?
I suffered an eptopic pregnancy in Sept 2010 and my boyf & I started ttc again just this cycle but my period due today hasn't arrived & an ovulation test has shown that I'm ovulating again today!!??
My lmp was 18/11/10 & according to the ov test strips I was ov days 12 & 13 so how can I poss be ov again today?... and the line is so dark!!
Have done a hpt and it's negative :-(
Please can anyone put me out of my misery....

We are desperate to be pregnant again and this isn't helping..

From what I have read in the literature, it is not recommended that ovulation predictor kits be used outside the fertile window (in other words days 11-16) because other hormones can interfere and cause false positive results.
If you were my patient, I would repeat the pregnancy test first, and then give you progesterone (presuming it's negative) to start your period-- or even better just wait for your natural period.  Then start all over with the new cycle and test for ovulation on days 11-16 with a confirmatory progesterone level at day 21.  Another good option is to follow your ovaries through the cycle with ultrasound to see how many follicles develop and whether they ovulate on schedule.
By the way, have you had an hsg to check your tubes?  I would encourage you to do that too.  It may be that you would benefit from IVF if your tubes are badly damaged.
