2 periods in one month normal?

24 years old.tampon hurts, what feels like my overy, when put in. mainly on my right side but sometimes pain comes on the left. the pain comes and goes even when not on my period. i've had a lot of problems with haveing pain on my right overy and when i get checked out all they can find is a cyst. i'm curious if the cyst ever fell off. i seem to have a lot of them that are painful. i recently had 2 miscarrages a year apart. the first was an incomplete miscarrage (miscarriage) the second was normal.on that note, about a few weeks ago (in middle of march) i kept haveing reaccurring yeast infections.took 2 doc visits and 2 different doses of fluextine i think it was called. the yeast infection was on and off for a month. my period came right on the dot this month which doesnt normally happen. i usually get it the 30th day but got it on the 28th day exact. it seemd to have been a normal period but different with no pain and went easy. which isn't usual for me because i struggle with discomfort. my period came on march 8th 2011 lasted 7 days. 11 days after my period ended (march 25)i started spotting very small brown spots on my panties. brown discharge when i wiped. spotting went on for 3 days then started getting heavier. the brown turn red and got heavier the 4th day so i had to use tampons, the 5th day was heavy like a preiod (period) useing regular flow tampon. it wasnt heavy enough to use a super. then next day it stoped and it was back to spotting really light for two days.total it was 7 days,2 days regular flow and the rest of the time spotting. i never have irregular periods, they always come between 28-32 days once a month. so i am very concerned and not sure when i should expect my next period if this is normal and if i should worry. my family has a history of endometriosis and i am sexually active with my husband.no form of birthcontrol.scheduled period is suppose to be april 5 took a preg test on that day said neg.recenlty started going to gym. could exercise be the cause?

Hi!
If I were your doctor, I would repeat the pregnancy test first.  I would then run some basic hormone tests such as thyroid hormone levels and prolactin level.  I would suggest a pap and ask you if you wanted testing for STDs.

Finally, I would probably want to do an ultrasound.  Irregular bleeding such as you are describing could be caused by either a uterine lining that is too thick, or too thin.
So, I would want to see how the lining appears on the scan.

Finally, since you do have pain and a family history of endometriosis, I would suggest that we consider a laparoscopy to "look around in there" and find out if you do have the condition.  It is certainly a possibility.
