4 IUI's, 1 miscarriage, endometriosis, what next??

Hello,
I was diagnosed with endometriosis about 9 years ago and have since had one laporoscopy in which I had two large cysts and mild endo removed. We have been TTC for 3 years. I have done 4 IUI's with Clomid. The first IUI worked but I miscarried at five weeks. The last three have been unsucessful. My doc wants to do another lap because my cramps are severe. I am taking Vicodin for them but it doesn't help much.
Any advice on the next step would be great..we are thinking we will do this lap and then move to injectibles with IUI. I don't have ovulation problems, my cycle is pretty regular. My last period was like four days late and that is the first time I have ever had a problem.

Thanks, Julie

Sounds like a good plan. I would not go pass 4 cycles of clomid IUI, without re-evaluating the plan. There is your history of endometrioisis and a tie between endometriosis and infertilty has been made. I would also recommend a operative laporoscopy and with these findings,THEN consider the next step. Horrible tubal damage or blockage or surgery on the tubes might result in skipping injectables IUI and gong to IVF, so wait til you have the surgery findings to decided the next step.
HOPE THIS HELPS
