Am I fertile?

Im not sure if I can get pregnant. I've asked my doctor for a infertiliy test and she said that I was still to young to wait until I'm thirty but I don't want to wait. I just turned 26 this year? My boyfriend and I have been trying for at least two years?

I must admit that I agree with babycries.  If you wait until you are 30, you will reduce your chances of pregnancy rather than increase them!  If you were my patient, I would start a workup.  I would have you do ovulation predictors to see if you are ovulating regularly, I would have HIM do a semen analysis, I would also recommend an HSG to see if your tubes are open or blocked.  Finally, I would do some hormone levels such as thyroid and prolactin levels.

I am 22 years old and when I went to the doctor I was immediately told that since I was trying to conceive whenever they could get my levels up they were going to have me try again.  They started me on Provera because I hadn't had a period in over three months.  Now I have just finished taking Provera again and start taking Clomid as soon as my cycle starts on days 5-9.  I would suggest seeking another opinion because I was told that I may have caught it early enough and that I have my age going for me.  My doctor wants to get me up to levels of ovulation and wants me to start trying now.  I'm hoping it brings my levels up.  I was only at .47 progesterone levels last month and they want at least a 5 to be considered ovulating.  Good luck and baby dust to you!
