Am I ovuating? High FSH?

I am 33 yrs old and have 4 childern my 4rd child is 19mths. I have been trying for the #5 (last one) for 8 months. I have regular periods, my period changes every 3 months from 28-31 days. I get positive opt, and I have the clear blue easy fertility monitor that tests positive. I always see cervical mucus the day before  it shoes a positive opt.  If I am getting cm and postive opt am I def ovualting?  My last child was a c-section can that have caused any damage to my tube? I also got a fertlity test in a home pregnancy box that I bought and I was shocked when what I think was a postive test. Are those tests accurate?

If you have managed to deliver four children, I suspect that its only going to be a matter of time before number 5 makes his/her arrival.  If you were my patient, depending upon your age (if under 30) I might tell you to try for another 4 months or so.  If over 30, I might discuss the possibility of an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) with you -- a test to determine whether your tubes are open or blocked.  Also, I'm assuming that you are still together with the same father, but if not, (or even if so) you might want to have a semen analysis done.  Your ovulation predictors and your cycle lengths certainly suggest that you are ovulating.  One way to find out for certain is to have a progesterone level done on cycle day 21-22.
