Clomid - cycle 2 experiences?

Hello!

I'm 29, TTC for 13 months. I am starting C2 of Clomid 100 mg -- on 50 mg CD3-7, I had no positive OPKs and my progesterone level was low on days 19 and 28. I started to have light bleeding on day 34 with a negative pregnancy test. I'm wondering what experiences people have on the higher dose -- I didn't have many side effects at the 50 mg dose. Also wondering if my chances of ovulation are better this time around.

Hi!
Clomid 100mg does sometimes work better than Clomid 50mg.  In some cases you might want to increase to 150mg.  I usually don't increase beyond this, because the data don't support a benefit.  I personally like Femara better than Clomid--it works better for a number of reasons.  If my patient still didn't ovulate with any of the above, I would consider adding Metformin or Dexamethasone, depending upon the situation.
If I still had no success, I would go to injectables/IVF probably.

Hey,
I just found out that C2 didn’t work at 100 mg of Clomid, I usually am irregular but started a week early this month. To me it is old but to my doctor he just wants to start a higher C3 dose of 150 mg of Clomid. Even at 100 mg no side effects yet, but if you ask my husband he would say mood changes if any! lol
No luck yet but we're hoping!

I am on day 20 of my second cycle with 50mg Clomid. My doctor is not bumping me up to 100mg due to a thinning of my endometrium. On day 15 this cycle my lining was 3mm, good follicles, Hcg shot. I have terrible headaches and hot flashes. Cramping yesterday on day 19. Hopefully this cycle was sucessful, but I know 3mm endometrium is not an ideal environment for a fertilized egg. Good luck.

I did one round of chlomid 50 and didnt have a positive ovulation test. I then did another round of 100 and a day 21 progesterone test was 8. Does that mean i ovulated?

The next month I got my period naturally (no provera) on day 30 and we did no chlomid. My day 21 test was .6 - much lower. I am now trying chlomid 150 and progesterone creme. I am confused about what is wrong with  me? Am i ovulating? Or is it just my progesterone is low and so fertilization cannot occur?

I had 3 rounds of chlomid 50mg.I did ovulate previous 2 cycles but not pregnant yet.Hope that this month will get pregnant!(CD 13)My husband and me are TTC for 12 month.
