You may have to read my original thread below as I'm answering you off of that and asking another questiong...
From the 3rd miscarriage the genetic testing results came back as a "normal male" so now I'm really concerned as why I keep miscarrying...I get pregnant easily and 2 of the 3 pregnancies had heartbeats...
Yes the recurrent mc testing has been done and the only thing my RE did give me was high folic acid for the MTHFR but now my new RE is putting me on Heparin since I have two mutations of the MTHRFR and borderline Protein S. He said that sometimes Heparin has helped women with multiple miscarriages.
We are also getting the genetic testing done on the both of us.
I do have a few fibroids, yet my RE did a sonohystegram (sp?) and he said that they are not affecting the cavity in any way and to leave them alone and that he doesn't feel they have anything to do with the miscarriages.
What do you think?

The fibroid question is the easier of the two to answer. Generally we recommend operating on fibroids if they are affecting the cavity, or if they are in the wall of the uterus and > 4 cm in diameter (i.e. on the big side), and the choice to operate on the bigger fibroids that are not affecting the cavity is a subject of debate in our specialty - no clearcut answer.
Similarly giving heparin is not a clear cut decision.
There are not always clear answers, and your new REI seems to have given some serious thought to your history. You should discuss the final treatment choice with your new REI after the results of the genetic testing are available, and decide what choices you feel most comfortable with.
