Embryo doesn't implant

Embryo doesn't implant

Is there anything that would cause an embryo that is implanted through IVF not to implant? Are there drugs that would reduce this from working? Foods?  Supplements?

Hi!
How many researchers would LOVE to know the answer to your question!
The answers probably run the gamut from age to antibodies. And from poor embryo quality to hostile endometrial lining.
All the tests that are done prior to an IVF cycle, are designed to look for problems that would influence implantation rates, and to use therapies to improve the odds.
And every recommendation that a reproductive endocrinologist makes is designed to increase success.
Several interesting studies have even looked at acupuncture and how it influences in vitro success rates.
So, basically everything you can do to improve your health--proper food nutrition, vitamins antoxidants, maintaining ideal body mass index, regular aerobic exercise, etc. will help!  And add an expert accupuncturist as the icing on the cake!

Don't forget to add prayers!
Good luck!
