Congratulations! The endometriosis should not affect your pregnancy. Your pregnancy, on the other hand, might help you endometriosis. By the way, I disagree with the 1/1,000,000 odds. With IVF, had you required it, your chances with severe endometriosis would be reasonably good, depending on your age. Hope things are going well for you.

Believe it or not pregnancy causes a lot of the pain and symptoms of endo to go away albeit for just the duration of the pregnancy.
I have endo.  I was told I would have trouble getting pregnant.  I did not.  But, I had trouble staying pregnant.  I had a whole bunch of other problems too like an incompetent cervix too.
My endo did not effect my pregnancy too much.
I have a 6 month of DD but haven't gotten my period yet so I'm hoping when I do, it won't be so bda.
Good luck to you!

I have endo too, dx 20 years ago. I was treated with Lupron and synarel and did well. I have two kids conceived right away. The pregancies actually helped the endo alot. It cleared it up for me. My warning though- after you give birth if you plan to have more children DO NOT wait too long. My endo came back within two years after each child. I wanted a third but waited too long, now the endo is back full force and I cant get preggo. So have the kids close in age. It will be easier to get preggo again since the endo will be temporarily cleared up a bit. Good Luck and enjoy your pregnancy!
