HCG and Progesterone in early pregnancy

One of the commonest misplaced fears I see is that regarding doubling time. It is a misperception that the beta-HCG has to double every 48 hours. In fact, normal pregnancies have occurred even with beta-HCGs that only increase by as little as 1 1/2 times every 48 hours. Your progesterone is actually reassuring and your beta rise is OK.

At this point, it is just too early to tell, and regardless of the numbers it is just too early to tell the how things will go. Let's keep our fingers crossed! These numbers look OK to me. So all of the preliminary steps are looking OK. Good luck!

It looks like everything is doing it's job. You may want to ask your Doctor to see if they can put you on Progestrone cream that way this can maintain your Progestrone levels.  

I have been trying for about 3 years and had IVF.  I had my transfer on 9/10/2007 and my first test was on 9/19/2007 my results were positive but my HCG was 42, on my 2nd test my level went up to 92 and my progestrone was 22.5, the Doctor then increased my progrestrone injections and then my HCG went up to 183 and the progestrone level was normal, the Dr. is very optimistic about my HCG levels because he says that it is not rising as it should, however when I go on-line it appears as though my levels are within it's range.

I am confused!!!! I will keep my fingers crossed for you and myself.

hi friends i done my ICSI 1 time n it came positive  ,,but miscarriage after 43 days ,,y it happens ,watz the problem .plzz tell wat i sud follow in the next ICSI ,,thank u
