HPT = BFN on 8 days after FET

did a hpt today, clear blue early response, got a bfn, this is 8 days after trans (3day emb) is this too early, do ppl still have hope this late into it??
need hope x

Hi!
Yes, too early.  Most REs do their tests 14 days after transfer and that is for a good reason.  I usually recommend waiting until your RE does your blood test, but certainly at least wait 10 days.

Yes, you test way to early!  I attacted a list of what happens after transfer... Hope it helps!

3-DAY TRANSFER:

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on

Hi everyone.. new to this site i have been trying to concive for the past three years whith no luck.
i just had my first iui this month with three mature follicles, my nurse called me today and bfn..
iam 28 my husband is 39 unexplained fertility. i read that alot of people have success on the first try of iui.. Has anyonelse tried iui with any success

I had a frozen transfer on july 13 and quant blood work on july 26 and it was 5 so neg and I just took home test then quan today at 2pm and my number is 242.. I don't know what to think.. The only thing I can think is it implanted late I don't know any help out their with this one????

i would defo go back and req another blood beta, unfortunatley for me it was negative, i have cried for a week and know im stronger and going straight into another cycle,,, so watch this space, let me know what ur outcome is , luck to you x

I've had 5 IUIs so far, and the 3rd one resulted in a chemical pregnancy :(. After that I had 2 more w/out any success. DH was sent to have tests done, s/a had a bad result, all else is fine, needs one more s/a in about a month or so. We had 2 months w/out IUIs and not sure we're going this cycle either.  We're still gonna try IUI if this cycle we have a negative with natural ttc. Let me know how it worked for you!
