Hello everyone!  This is my first month ttc and I can already see that this process is one that can be stressful!  I have been off of bc for 3 cycles and my cycles have been as follows: May 3, June 7, and July 12.  A fertility calculator estimates that my fertile days for this month should have started Saturday.  I have been taking over-the-counter ovulation kits for since Friday and nothing!  My cervical mucos is minimal and I am starting to worry.  Should I be?  Just looking for some advice from others.  Thanks!

Based on your last three cycles, this is your fertile time. However, I usually recommend starting to test for ovulation a little bit earlier, around day 12 or 13, at least the first couple of months of testing, just to make sure that the test cycle does not turn out to be a bit shorter, like 28 days. Once you have an idea where ovulation occurs consistently, then you can focus in a bit. Also, urine ovulation testing works for 90% - there is a small minority who ovulate yet the test does not read positive. Let's see what happens over the next couple of days.
