How long does seman stay at the cervix?

My DH and I are ttc. On cd 7 we were intimate, then late after on cd 8 I noticed eggwhite cervical mucus while I was doing a cervical position check. I thought it was way too early to be ovulating, so I'm wondering if my cm was seman obscured. It was mostly clear but did have some cloudiness to it. It was pretty thick, and it stretched about 2 inches between my fingers before it broke. It was rather slippery also.

I also had pretty intense pinching to my right lower abdomen (around the ovary area) on cd 10. It lasted about 30 seconds but it was very present. Do you think that I may have ovulated then? And if so, is it still possible to get pregnant from the intercourse on cd 7?

Sperm can survive in the female reproductive tract for up to 3 days.  So, if I do the math correctly, and all of your other assumptions are correct, there should be a chance of pregnancy.  It is pretty typical to reccomend having intercourse daily or every other day at least, within the fertile interval (eg from cd 11-16 in a normal 28 day cycle).  There are some unfortunate circumstances that may prevent this from happening of course, but do your best!
