I haven't ovulated since my D&C in April 2009

I havent ovulated since my D&C in April 2009, I was eight weeks pregnant.It was a missed AB. I was put on prometrium in July, had a withdrawl (withdrawal) bleed July 2, no ovulation, 2 days of light bleeding on July 25 still no ovulation. Will birthcontrol for a few months help me get my cycle back.

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would recommend using something to induce ovulation rather than birth control.  I personally like Femara, but many people use Clomid too.  It is possible that you would only need to use it for one cycle, and your own cycles would kick in after that.  There is nothing wrong with using birth control, it is just going to take a lot longer to get results that way!
