LOW AMH

I had all fertility tests conducted, all are normal. except my low AMH Level , which is .5. Does it mean that it will be difficult to conceive as i had my 1st failed icsi also .Please answer whether, Low AMH deserves any attention if all other tests are normal, does it reflect future potential of fertility, or present fertility issue, as my husband is also suffering from Asthenozoospermia.

Hi!
A low AMH suggests reduced ovarian reserve.  Basically what that means is that you might not respond well to the medications that are used in an IVF cycle, and might not produce many eggs.  Because you have had ICSI already, I am going to assume that you have been through a cycle and that you know how many eggs and embryos were produced.
Usually we find low AMH in "older" women, (35+) That might also mean that your eggs might be more likely to be genetically abnormal.  This is something that inevitalbly occurs with aging, and reduces fertility.
If you are going through IVF with ICSI, you are doing the best treatment available, and there is a reasonably good chance that you will succeed.  Don't give up!
