Life after depo provera

The date of my last shot was in september of 2010. It has been 7 months since, and last month (the 6th month) I had a light, four day period. After starting a period for the first time after depo, does this mean now that I can get pregnant? I haven't had a period this month at all (April) and have had sore breasts for two weeks. I think it is just my hormones messing with me again, because all tests are negative. Or maybe it is too early? I don't know, but I am going crazy thinking that I am pregnant already!

It is possible that you could be pregnant, and I ALWAYS recommend taking a test.  It can take up to 18 months for the effects of Depo Provera to wear off, or they can wear off any time in between stopping it and 18 months.
