Multiple positive OPKs

Multiple positive OPKs

Today is day 6 of a positive opk result. I'm on CD 20, and my temp has still not risen. Any thoughts on why the OPK has been positive for 6 days? I've been using OPKs for a few months but always stopped taking them after the first positive result.

Hi!
You have used the correctly in the past!  There are several things that can give a false positive result, so generally the best advice is to stop testing once ovulation is detected.
If you were my patient, I would follow you through a cycle with ultrasound.  I would scan at about CD 10 to see if a follicle was developing, and then watch it through day 13-15 to see if it ruptures and a corpus luteum forms.  I would also ask you to do OPKs to be certain that they correlate.  Another good test to do, is a CD 21 progesterone level to confirm ovulation.
Good luck!
