No LH but sore boobs, pain in side, and period starting regularly

Can you still get pregnant if you don't show a LH surge on a OPK.  I am on my second cycle of clomid at 100mg have very sore boobs and pain in my left side that only started on CD14.  I am now on CD19 and still show no Lh surge and have no CM.  Last month it was the same and my period started right on time.  Could I have ovulated and missed it or can you have a period with no ovulation and on the day it is supposed to start?

Thanks so much for all your help.

Hi!
I'm strongly inclined to believe that your ovulation predictors are wrong.  If there is no ovulation, there usually is no period -- especially not right on time.  Sometimes I think ovulation predictors do more harm than good, because people "miss the boat" while they are waiting for their tests to turn.  One way to find out for sure is to do a cycle day 21 progesterone level.  If this level is high, then you ovulated, regardless of what the OPKs are saying.  By the way, I usually recommend that my patients have intercourse daily or every other day during the fertile interval (usually days 10-17 or so), and not wait for the test -- I only use those tests to time IUI cycles.
Good luck!

No, you can't get pregnant if u dun get a LH surge. Some people just dun respond to clomid unfortunately. You may have missed your LH surge if yours happened to be a short one in that month. You may like to test twice a day just to be sure. Once in the morning, & another one in the evening. Just get a cheap OPK so u wun feel the pinch. Sore boobs & all are all a response to the raging hormones stimulated by clomid. It does not mean anything.

OPK's are not always accurate!  I was testing twice per day this cycle and never got a positive OPK.  I for sure ovulated as I am temping as well.  The OPK's got a bit darker just before ovulation, but the test line never was as dark or darker than the control line.  Don't trust them!  Like Dr. B stated, just BD at least every other day to make sure you're covered.
