No period since IUD removal ttc

My last period was on April 23rd. My IUD was removed on May 9th. I've not had a period since. I've taken 6 pregnancy test all negative. I also started having acne really bad on my face, neck, chest, and shoulders. Never happened before and my face is horribly oily. I'll wash my face and an hour later oily again. I don't know if these are period symptoms or if they could actually be pregnancy symptoms. I called doc told me to just keep waiting on period. If I'm not getting a period then I'm not ovulating right? and can't get pregnant. I've never tried to plan a baby and me and my husband are just lost and confused. Please help!!

If you were my patient, I would probably allow up to 3 months to pass without a period  before becoming too concerned. It may take awhile for your body to adjust to the change.
At the end of 3 months, I might prescribe progesterone to see if it would start your period for you, and then base my further workup on the results.
