Hi there Poseidon.  I don't have all the information you're looking for, but I have advice and tips.  My husband and I just went through IVF.  It failed and we are devastated.  To work through the sadness and QUESTIONS of what went wrong, I'm doing my own research.  My husband has the same problem as you.  In fact, I think my husbands results was lower than yours.  The day of the embryo transfer, we spoke to the embryologist and asked how my DH's sample was and without even hesitating, he said "Terrible".  Here's the tips:  QUIT SMOKING.  Yes, yes, I know it's hard, since I was a smoker myself and my husband smoked his last sig. yesterday.  Smoking is a sperm killer for sure.  All my research points to that.  I have a friend who's husband stopped smoking and 7 months after they conceived naturally.  He were ttc for 3 years!  The other suggestion:  Accupuncture.  Do a google search on accupunture and sperm count.  The other thing:  check out this website for a good herbal supplement:
www.nativeremedies.com.  The other BIG sperm killer is stress.  Believe me, we've had our share of that one.  We're now turning our lives over.  Better eating habits, Omega 3 supplement, walking more often etc.  Oh, before I forget - it takes 3 months for new sperm to mature.  So, if you start taking the supplement, give it at least a couple of weeks so kick in so good and healthy sperm can form.  Good luck to you and please let me know how things are going.
