Trying to concieve(conceive)

hi, i m 24 year old n my husband is 32 we r planning 4 a baby .. i m ttc from 1 year but unable to concieve (conceive) for a single time ..i start everything is normal but from 5-6 i have spotting before my actual period starts .....the spotting last from 5-6 dayz .... is this a reason that i am not getting pregnant ... n tension is increasing day by  day.. n is tension cause the spotting ??????????? plez do help me....:(

If you were my patient, I would order a saline ultrasound of your uterus.  I would be particularly interested in the appearance of the endometrium (lining of the uterus) because I would want to rule out any polyps.  Polyps can also occur in the canal of the cervix, so a pap smear would be a good test too.  (Polyps cause spotting.) Another test I would ask you to do is a cycle day 21 progesterone level.  This tests confirms ovulation, and if the level was not normal, might be causing your problems.
There are lots of other tests to order and problems to investigate, but this is where I would be inclined to start given your symptoms.
It would not be a bad idea to consult with an RE at this point.
