No, it is not necessary for the woman to have an orgasm in order to conceive.  A female orgasm can result in mild contractions of the uterus and tubes that can assist the sperm in traveling to their destination, but they are also quite capable of getting there on their own without any help too.

I think what you are asking is Is it necessary that the female orgasm in order to get pregnant. In that case, No it is not necessary for the female to orgasm in order to get pregnant. It is thought to be helpful in aiding the male sperm along, but not scientifically confirmed. If thats not the question, i'm sorry, i didnt quite understand.

i have just come accross this post right now and im also new here. well abt the orgasm thing, if its helpful in aiding the male sperm along, my question is, should you orgasm after the sperm release or before? answers will be highly appreciated.
