As it has been a year, though, you should make an appointment with you doctor. You may want to consider having an X-Ray test called a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) done which will tell you if the tube is open. Also, whenever someone has a year of trying to get pregnant without success, it is a good idea to do some hormone testing and a sperm count.
