birth control

How long does it take for birth control to be out of your system I stopped taking it Jan. 6th. I am still not pregnant I am 22 and was on it since I was 19.

Hi! Unless you were using depo Provera, birth control should clear your system within 24 hours.  Certainly before your next cycle.  We usually recommend that you don't actively try to conceive until 3 months after your last dose.  Also, for normal healthy couples using no protection, 85% conceive within one year.  We would not usually start doing a lot of testing until at least 6 months and maybe 12 months have passed.
