blastocyst help

Hiya all this is my 3rd go of ivf and am on day 1 on tranfer with 2 5 day eggs doc said 1 had reach blastocyst but other hadn't quite got there yet am wondering if anyone could tell me because it hadn't reach that stage will it or could it reach it in my womb ? also been reading that implation takes within the first 48 of blastocyst is that correct am getting cramps bad tonite is that true ?

Here is a timeline that may answer your questions:


**this is what happens in a 5dt :

-1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT


oh, and yes, the embryo will become a blastocyst and more if it survives transfer and implants.

I have started bleeding this morning red blood abit but stopped for now but looking at your day to day then there is no way it could be a plantation is there ? am so worried now it hasn't worked really need a reply thank you

Hi ruey.
I had the same symptoms as u at my first (fresh) ivf cycle. A few days after transfer (around 6 days later I recall), I started to spot and then bleed properly. It unfortunately was my period. I could not understand why I bled so soon as I was not due on until much later.

I'm not sure what your situation is at the moment as I am posting a few days after ur last post but I fear that you may already have your answer. I know it is devastating, but try to stay positive. I am also still trying to get pregnant and hope that one day it is all successful and we all have wonderful babies to show for our efforts!
