blood clotting tests?

I just have a follow up question for you. As you know I do take daily low dose aspirin...however..... I know that blood clotting disorders like Antiphospholipid syndrome and other thrombophilias can cause stillbirths. And this is what I am most worried about.

Would there be any benefit to me getting tested for aps or other blood clotting disorders during THIS pregnancy? Or do you think thats unnecessary at this point?

I would probably NOT test for clotting disorders during this pregnancy for two reasons, the first is that I would not have a high index of suspicion, the second is that many of the tests are not accurate during pregnancy.  Again, if any of the things I mentioned (I don't want to even risk saying them again! karma!) were to happen, I would consider testing after the baby is born.  I probably WOULD do weekly non stress tests in your case, and would consider a scan at least once per month to evaluate growth and fluid volume.  Not every doc would do these, just my opinion.

Oh, I forgot to ask about weekly non stress tests. I know some women my age get them. Is that necessary?
