chances

had tubes untied in jan 2010 they were only able to repair one tube that was left at 6cm no luck with getting pregnant as of yet what are my chances at this point i am 40 going on 41 in 3mths my husband is 30 going on 31 his sperm count was very well what hope do we have?

Hi!
First of all, if you were my patient, I would be certain to do an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) to be certain that the tube is open.  Certainly if not, and possibly even if so, I would then consider moving to IVF, because of your age.  Sorry to be blunt!  It is certainly not impossible for 40 year olds to conceive on their own, but chances are lower each year you continue to try.
