clomid, progesterone, and estrogen pills

Last month I was placed on clomid and progesterone pills. I ovulated but didn't get pregnant. My doctor stated that if I ovulated and didn't get pregnant that she was goin g to prescribe me estrogen pills to thicken my uterine walls. I did the clomid cycle and estrogen pills. Today I started my progesterone pills. Saturday I started experience lower back pain. I think I ovulated early also. I usually have ovulation on 16 day of luteal phase. I want to know if these symptoms I am having are side effects of medications? I'm currently taking. I forgot to mention I'm diagnosis with PCOS and currently lost 33 lbs. to ovulate but only ovulated one time since weight lost that's why I'm currently taking these medications.

It is hard to answer this question with certainty. Sometimes ovulation can be painful, perhaps a bit moreso when on clomid. If you have not been ovulating regularly, but ovulated this month on clomid, this may explain your symptoms. I would recommend discussing with your physician when you are in the midst of fertility treatment - your provider will be much more familiar with your case than we can ever be. We hope things work out for you!

Hi, I have PCO and only get my period approx. three x a year, I am about to go on Clomid, what would you advise in conjunction? I thought, pre seed, Rubatusum (for cervical mucus) and perhaps progesterone cream?
