clomid right after miscarriage

I recently had a miscarriage at 18 weeks. The baby was conceived on clomid. I delivered vaginally on February 1st and we are wanting to start trying to have another baby immediately. Is it ok for me to take clomid with my very next period? It will be my very first period after the miscarriage.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss!  I know how devastating it is to lose a child!
If I were your doctor, I would probably advise against Clomid immediately unless you don't have periods at all without medications.  I would suggest waiting 2-3 months before actively trying to conceive, just to give your body(and mind) a little time to heal.   On the other hand, I don't usually recommend birth control in these types of circumstances.
Also, if it takes several weeks for your natural period to arrive, I could probably be convinced to let you try clomid again in that case.
