GRACE0783, most women taking clomid for five days ovulate about six to seven days after finishing it. the side effects you describe, breast tenderness and ovarian pain, arise from the mild hyperstimulation to the ovaries produced by clomid. this mild hyperstimulation increases your estrogen levels (causing breast engorgement) and typically increases slightly the number of follicles you produce (producing ovarian tenderness). david
