decrease in tender breasts before period

My husband and I are trying for our second child. My breasts started to become tender and full around 1 day after ovulation. I am 6 days away from my expected period (I have a very regular 26 day cycle) Can I take this as a sign that I was unsuccessful conceiving this month? Or is there still hope for me? Thank you in advance :)

Hi!
Breast tenderness is commonly a sign that the cycle was ovulatory, and that progesterone is being produced. Progesterone causes fluid retention which is responsible for many of the PMS symptoms. It can't rule in or out pregnancy.
