frozen transfer

frozen transfer

I just had a frozen embryo transfer on 4/1. After many failed IUIs Three failed IVF’s  im really not trying to get my hopes up.  I really don’t have any infertility issues that the DR can find.  I’m of average weight. I’m 32. I dint drink or smoke.  Tubes look great.  Follicles are strong.. My periods are like clock work (if im not on meds) lining is great.  I just don’t get it. I’m beyond frustrated.  This has consumed my life in every way.  My Dr put in embryos. Really good ones. Two of which were blastocysts.
My question is.  With all my other embryo transfers. I had some cramping, but with this one I felt nothing.  I don’t know if this is good or bad.  I have never had implantation cramping the two times I got pregnant.  Once in 2007 and a miscarriage last Oct.  I have heard that it’s a bad sign if I don’t have any cramps.  Also one other question. Should I change Drs?  I really like and trust him.  He gave me my first daughter, but it took almost 2 yrs of treatments!!!

Hi!

First of all, there is no way that I can discover to determine whether a transfer "took" or not until the pregnancy test is done on day 14.  I have had plenty of patients with and without cramping.

Having two blastocysts should be about the best odds that I can think of for success.
If you have a daughter already, then your chances are even better.

I personally would advise against changing doctors. If you like and trust him, you are on the right track.  I doubt that another doctor could do a better job -- so much is still up to Mother Nature.

Good luck!
