hoping and praying

Starting at the end of Feb. I started clomid 50mg CD 2-6.  On CD 22 I had a + OPK and had my progesterone checked 7 days later, which was 0.7.  It was called a failed cycle, so I started provera again.  10 days after the provera April 22nd, I happened to POAS and it was ++++!!!  I was not expecting that!  On the 27th we went in for an ultrasound, I measured 4 weeks and 6 days with a 9mm gest. sac and visible yolk sac.  Since I have no idea when I ovulated, we are not sure how far along I should be.  Also, on Monday the 25th my beta was 4000.  So, since I've had a previous MC, we are cautiosly awaiting our appointment tomorrow May 2nd.  Our fertility Dr. said we should see growth and an embryo by Monday, if not, it's not meant to be. Has anyone else had a similar experience??  Really want this to me our Christmas miracle!!  After 3 years of trying, we would be due on December 27th.

Hi!
Lots and lots of women post similar stories.  Your beta hcg sounds good and your ultrasound findings sound consistent with the hcg.  On your next ultrasound, you will very likely see a tiny "grain of rice" on the "cheerio"  (yolk sac) and possibly a heart beat, although you may have to wait a little longer for that.
