im 16 and my period stopped

hiya, im 16 and my period has been stopped roughly a year i dont even get spotting some times wen i wife my vagina area blood comes from my cervix. i am not a virgin the last time i would have had sex would have ben a year or more ago . do you have any idea what could be wrong with me? im worried i wont be able to have kids when im older! please help

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would bring you in for a complete exam and some blood testing.
There are a few different possibilities.  The tests that I would start out with would include:
TSH, prolactin, FSH, and 17 oh progesterone.  Depending upon the details of your history, such as your weight, physical conditioning, other symptoms such as acne or excess hair growth, I might add other tests such as LH, estradiol, testosterone, etc.
The first test to do always, is a pregnancy test, but it sounds unlikely that that is your problem.
In most cases the problem can be sorted out and the chances that you can have children in the future are very good.
It is important to get in to a good doctor fairly soon and get started sorting this out!
