MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
Sorry for the late response--I took a little vacation before school starts!
If you don't ovulate, you won't have a period--If you want to understand better how that all works, check out my blog article (this site) about the menstrual cycle.
Many women who don't ovulate regularly, feel like they have constant PMS.
If you were my patient, I would check a pregnancy test ( I ALWAYS check a pregnancy test), and if it was negative, I would induce a period for you by prescribing progesterone.
The, depending upon your goal, we would need to figure out how to regulate your cycles.
There are a couple of options.  If you don't want to get pregnant, the Mirena IUD can be really nice.  Other options would be oral contraceptives or monthly progesterone tablets.
If you DO want to get pregnant, you are probably going to need something like Femara (or Clomid) and/or Metformin.  I would run some basic hormone tests, such as TSH  and prolactin levels to try to sort out what is going on.
By the way, inducing a period will help that "PMS-y" feeling!
I hope this is helpful!

hey u probably will have to wait until the hormones from the BC clears from your body and get somewhat back to normal. It may take a while but don't give up miracles do happen everyday. Don't give up and be patient.. Best of Luck..

Were you on birth control prior to that? If so, that may be the reason... I don't have periods  also, and I have been diagnosed with PCOS. I suggest you see a specialist; they'll know what to look for in your tests. Good luck!
