late periods

Me and my gf have been haveing sex for a while now and the last time we had sex, the condom broke. I didnt even get in the condom or anything. My g/f has been on birth control for a while now and i was wondering if she could be pregnant. The only thing reason i dont think shes preg is because she has it happend before when it was late and she was under stress and not she is stressed again. I need to know what to do, and could u give me some advice.

If she is on birth control, she is probably not pregnant.

I understand that you might be a little worried and frustrated about the whole thing.  It's a good thing the both of you are practicing safe sex...but sometimes... accidents like the condom breaking do happen.  If you were using a condom and she is on birth control then there is a good chance that she is not pregnant.  But if she is still late and starts getting early signs of pregnancy...have her make an appointment with her doctor.  You can even buy a store home pregnancy test try first if she is hesitant on seeing her doctor.  I find that the best hpt would be ClearBlue or EPT.  Those tests both help me confirm my pregnancy about 2 weeks after I had missed my period but now a days some pregnancy test can comfirm a pregnancy 5 days before the womens expected period. So try one of those if you can.

And yes stress, lack of sleep, too much exercising, poor diet, and a number of other things can contribute to a late period or sometimes no period at all.  The best thing for the both of you to do is schedule an appointment with her doctor.  Only then will you truely know if she is expecting.
