period symptoms after embryo transfer

I had a 5 day blastocyst transfer 7 days ago and am due to take a hpt on thursday. I have been extremely emotional and convinced that my period is coming.  Has anyone had symptoms that feel exactly like period plus lots and lots of crying, and been pregnant?

Hi!
Unless I am mistaken, you are taking rather large dosages of estrogen and progesterone at this point -- that would be standard for an IVF cycle.  Most of your symptoms are probably due to the hormonal medications, and are quite common.  I have not yet found any way to interpret symptoms before the pregnancy test at day 14.  I do have LOTS of posts about how difficult the waiting period is!

Alot of woman have period like symptoms before getting a bfp!   Hang in there! It sound like you had a very strong embryo or embryos transferred, and have a great chance at a bfp!!!!

I also feel like my period is trying to come down. having all the usual symptoms, except for the other day I had a slight fever.

Praying it dont come!!. Scared when I use the bathroom, hoping not to see red.;(

Praying for a miracle, not just for me but for all women who have to go thru what we go thru trying to concieve (conceive).because I know how hard its, when you want that one thing, that come so easy for some women. And you ask your self why not me!!!

I am in the same position at this very minute. I know u lot posted a few months ago- did u get good news? I've had period pains since starting on the progesterone pessaries and I know that they cause that symptom but when u are waiting to see if it's worked it's torture! I had two blasts transferred just 4 days ago and I'm really achy in my hips and lower abdomen- although it feels like period pains there is something a bit different but I may be kidding myself! I'm an emotional wreck too and have had weird pulling pains in my belly since day 2 after transfer. Anyone had these symptoms and still got bfp??
