pregnant after fertility injection

Was inseminated on the 10th August 2007 with my partners sperm, was told to wait till day 16 after insemination before doing a pregnancy test waited till 28th August before doing a home test and it was postive, then done another test on the 30th and said the same, do i belive this? cause i have it in my mind there could be a mistake and it might just be the hcg levels of the injections thats giving me a false positive, plus i have been getting a brown discharge which is worrying me and some craping and back ache but apart from that i dont feel any different, do i believe im pregnant or do i try another test? (Had my last injection on the 8th August)

You are probably pregnant. Home tests are quite accurrate. You should confirm with a blood test, and if you are having discharge get a second blood test two days after the first to make sure the levels are increasing appropriately. I worry a bit about the brown discharge also, but more often than not with just a bit of discharge things work out OK - at this time all we can do is wait.

My personal opinion:  congratulations.  It is my understanding that there are more false negatives with home pregnancy tests than there are false positives.  In my personal case, my hcg shot was out of my system by day 8, but I believe most doctors will tell you 14 days to clear.

I personally would poas again (but then again, I poas like crazy!)
