question about golf size fibroid on left ovary

On 6/28, i scheduled and appointment to obgyn because of severe cramping on left side and back. I barely could walk that's how painful it was. I assumed it was cyst had developed again on my left ovary. So she did an u/s on the ovary every thing was fine nothing so she did an u/s on the uterus that's when she found the fibroid on top but in the back of my ovary. She told me that the thickening of my uterine wall looks like it's preparing for a pregnancy and the size of the fibroid and the growth sometimes suggest pregnancy. So she asked me how have I been feeling lately. I told her that 6/25 i went to my family doctor because of extreme exhaustion come to find my sugar was so low that I had to given a shot to bring it back up. I also told her i was constipated for 4 days and had a taste in my mouth like aluminum. So she told me to be on the safe side she was diagnosing me as being a week pregnant and put me on bedrest, i couldn't be on my feet more than an hour, and told me to take tylenol every 4hrs. She scheduled a blood test on 7/5 which is the day my cycle supposed to come down. I told her that i doubt that i am pregnant. She looked at my past ultrasounds including the one when i was pregnant last year and told it has been there all along and that my previous ob and herself thought that it was a tiny cyst. She said for some apparent reason it's growing and there's no fluid. I thought fibroids prevent pregnacy.

Fibroids only prevent pregnancy in very rare circumstances.

I am having a hard time understanding what you are writing - is the fibroid in your uterus (usual place) or your ovary?

At any rate, only very large fibroids, or fibroids growing inside the cavity of the uterus where pregnancies implant, prevent pregnancy. A golf-ball sized fibroid not growing in the uterine cavity is not something that will prevent pregnancy.

Did you have a pregnancy test? This will tell you whether or not you are pregnant.

I found out I was pregnant in July 3. I went to the obgyn on July 23 at 7 weeks pregnant. He thought that I was 20 weeks bc my uterus was bigger than 7 weeks. I went back in 3 weeks for a sonogram. I had two fibroid tumors one size of a tennis ball and other size of grapefruit. And I had a precious baby moving his head and hands. My obgyn said that the fibroids shouldn't effect my pregnancy..he hope that my uterus stretch for vaginal birth bc the biggest one is blocking the birth canal but he said they will usually get out of the way of the fetus for birth. If it doesn't move, then I will have to have a C-section. The fibroid usually gets bigger when you are pregant because you have blood flowing through your uterus...fibroid lives off blood....That's what my OBYGN told me....
