removed the coil still not pregnant

I have removed the IUD. And used to get my period every month. It has been now 8 month since i have removed it.
I have 2 children. And have used the coil between my 2 children. But now I am really worried I am trying to get pregnant again. But why is it taking so long?.

I'm not too sure exactly what your question is--I agree with mhv that your post implies that you haven't had a period in 8 months.  If not, there is definitely a problem with ovulation!  Even if your periods are irregular, it usually is a sign that ovulation is also irregular.  Because of your history of IUD use, if you were my patient, I would question you about any history of pelvic infection.  If you have had any type of infection, an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) would be a good idea--this is a test which determines whether there is any blockage of the tubes.
