second round of iui here we come :(

Ok just got AF today which is 14 days post IUI. The first time no fertility drugs were used and the DS is brand new to the cryobank we use. This time which will be our second should we use clomid and switch to DS that has reported pregnancy? God help us

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would probably want to do a monitored cycle--in other words,
follow  you with ultrasounds to watch the development of the follicles.  If there is one or two healthy mature follicles developing, then I would discourage the use of fertility medications because the might CAUSE problems such as luteal phase insufficiency or thin endometrium.  If you do go with meds, I suggest Femara to my own patients.
I would also do a progesterone level.
As far as donor--I personally don't think that you can go wrong with a "proven" donor if you find one with the characteristics that are important to you.

oh and i forgot to mention on the first round of IUI the doctor said I was perfectly healthy and didn't need fertility drugs....

Hi! Im currently on my fifth round of clomid hcgtrigger/iui. im on a monitored cycle and my dr. discovered i have a 3cm cyst on my ovary i guess its from hyper stimulation. i dnt know if i should move on to injectibles does it have higher success rate?
