shooting pains after period

i had a positive hpt followed by negative nxt morning and my period was 2 days late and very light.my period ended a week ago and i been having bad pains in my uterus,they shoot thrugh my vagina.the only last for couple of minutes.please help me!

Hi!
Believe it or not, that type of pain is very common during pregnancy.  HOWEVER
if you were my patient, I would want to see you ASAP so that I could check some hormone levels (quantitative HCG and progesterone) and possibly do an ultrasound to rule out ectopic pregnancy.

Anytime there is bleeding or pain during pregnancy, it should be evaluated.
