slyvia kill sperm??

hi me and my partner have been trying for baby for months now but haveing no luck, ive been giving him oral sex(blow jobs)alot im wounderind if it could be slyvia could maybe be the problem.

There have been some studies showing a negative effect of saliva on sperm. So, it is possible that oral sex is having some minor effects.

I'm sure that I don't need to tell you too, that you won't conceive unless you have vaginal intercourse--oral sex won't do the trick!

Be sure that you are not having sex TOO often, too. For men, ejaculating more than once per day can actually reduce the sperm count.  So, for example, it would definitely not be a good idea to have oral sex first, and then vaginal sex later.

I must say that I doubt this is the only problem--if you were my patient, I would also run some tests, such as ovulation predictors, semen analysis and an HSG to determine whether there was any blockage in the fallopian tubes.

I would refrain from oral sex while TTC around the time of ovulation.  Saliva DOES kill sperm.
