small follicells

hi doctor, i need your help. since one year i am trying to conceive,but failed.i have done my medical test all are normal,except in my ultrasound in left ovary many small follicells is seen.my doctor says me it is just because of hormonal change after marraige.i want to know that this thing is serious or it will take time to cure naturally.

Hi!
It is possible that you have polycystic ovary syndrome.  PCOS is often detected by an ultrasound which shows many small follicles in the ovaries.  Typically women with PCOS have irregular menstrual periods and are often infertile.  Women with PCOS DO get pregnant naturally, but it can take a long time.  There are some excellent medications that are fairly simple to take and can speed up the process.
Clomid or Femara are each good medications to help with ovulation, They work best when combined with Metformin.
One other thing to consider is asking your husband to do an semen analysis if he hasn't already.

Hi. Im 34 trying for baby past 3 years.Have thyroid issue but now normal.Have hormonal imbalance issue. Tried 2 cycle of clomid failed!. Recently dr found me with pcos and he suggest me for ovarian drilling.Which i did march/10.Thank god no blockage in the tube,uterus fine and no endo . April /8 /10 I started with 1st cycle of  50 mg clomid which was on 2nd day of my period.After a week  Dr did scan and said clomid worked for me.Till now no period. Preg test shows negative. Please advise me .Im depressed !
