trying to concieve

hiya, im new to this!!!! im lucky enough to have 2 beautiful kids already but my husband and i would love to complete our family. my periods have been very irregular 4 a yr now and i was refured to have scan done, which showed a bad case of polycystic overy syndrome!!! now they want to put me on metformin to regulate my periods and help me ovulate!!!  iv heard that a drug called clomid is better, im goin on metformin in a few weeks wen i have my doc appointment!!! just dont know what else to do!!!! xxxx

Hi!
The most recent data that I've come across suggest that a combination of both medications is the best for shortening the time to conception in patients with PCOS.
I'm glad you have your two blessings already--your chances are good for a third!

i have been trying to conceive for the whole of 2010,i was on Noristerat injectable birth control and had periods for almost two weeks, now i am back to my normal cycle and am getting so impatient because i ovulate regulaly
