very worry about my fertility

hello...i already posted another question in another forum...
see...i am 22 years old...getting married in september 18.... i have troubles with my period ..they are soo irregular...
i was wondering could that mean that i might have difficulties to have a baby??
i was also thinking to take birth control pils coz my fiance and i r not planning to have a baby in the near futur...we;d like to wait at least 2 years...could it have bad side effects on conceiving??
i am very worry about it...

Irregular periods are usually caused by irregular ovulation which can make it difficult to conceive--usually people with irregular cycles have to wait longer than those with monthly cycles.
Taking birth control pills usually is GOOD for your system.  They make your periods regular and predictable, and protect your uterine lining and ovaries from cancer and endometriosis.  They also reduce anemia.  Sometimes women have regular periods after taking pills for awhile (when they stop again ) more often they go back to their usual irregular periods.  When you are ready for a child, it may be helpful to visit a gynecologist to get medications such as Clomid that help you to ovulate.
