Hi there. It is unlikely that only one event of chlamydia is contributing to your infertility. Are you seeing an infertility subspecialist/reproductive endocrinologist? By now, you should since it has been a couple of years of trying. You and your partner should be evaluated with a sperm count, a hysterosalpingogram (an x-ray that evaluates if your fallopian tubes are open), and a progesterone on day 21 or 22 to see if you are ovulating. If all of these turn out to be normal (or have been done and are normal), then you should consider fertility drugs and intrauterine insemination again. If your tubes are blocked, or your partner has a sperm count problem, then IVF. Having intercourse every day is not a good idea. Sperm live in the female genital tract for 2-4 days, and so every day is not necessary. Furthermore, having intercourse every day will lower sperm count. Please regroup, and visit or revisit a fertility specialist. Your problems are very common, and things can be done to help you. At age 23, your chances of getting pregnant are excellent. Keep the faith!
