A mock transfer is the same as a transfer but no embryos are used. Its just to measure and make the transfer goes smooth. They use saline instead of embryos.
krichar:Congratulations!!! It takes a little bit to sink in doesn't it? Your beta is just 2 days away! How are you feeling? I had extreme thirstyness too - it was great lol!!! Then yes, the queasy tummy... YAY!!!
Keyan: 10in?! I hope you guys didn't/don't end up getting that much!! You guys kind of live farther up on hillside/mountain side don't you? I can't believe how fast time goes by! We saw you guys in November and it seems like forever ago. Do you guys have any plans to visit up in the States? Sorry about the cyst, when did you find out about it? Have they said if it's an endometrioma or anything? ((HUGS)) Have a good day :-)
Mommyin10: I can't believe your little ones are 4 months too already! I keep forgetting that Ricky and Ava are close in birthdays with Peyton. What is their actual birthdate? It just seems like they should be so much younger than Peyton lol :-)
Guesito: Good luck with the trial transfer! I've heard of a bunch of women on Metformin to help increase their chances. I believe that women with more severe cases of PCOS take it also...Good Luck!!!
SammyJ: Good Luck, just a few more days!!!!
Sbumble: I'm sorry you are having such a tough time with everything...you don't sound self absorbed at all!!! I know what you mean about a lot of it though. When do you go back to work? I guess my theory is, if you don't feel comfortable with the sitter, don't make Shelby go there. You will worry the entire time she is there. It took us interviewing 4-5 people before we finally found ours. She has all the baby stuff there and doesn't lock them in another room. Ours is licensed through the state so she has to follow their regulations on how many children are in her home ect. I would try to keep looking...Yes, I am on Facebook - if you want, message me through here and I'll find ya on FB :-) Try to have a good day and keep taking in all those smiles and raspberries from Shelby :-)
Have a great day everyone!!!
Hugs, Love and SSBD to all :-)
Thank you so much for all the congrats...I think it is finally starting to sink in...and i start crying i am so excited!!!!
mommyin10- 4 months already...WOW!!!! Time sure does fly, I hope it does for me as well. Can't wait to see more pics, they are too cute for words!!!
guesito- I haven't heard of those meds but if they said it helps i would take there word for it. Good luck on the mock transfer!!! It is coming up soon!!
sbumblebeeo- I hope everything is going ok and you are able to find a place where you feel safe to leave your little angel!
kmcarino- Haven't seen you on in a little while...is that a good sign? I sure hope so!!!! Good luck on the delivery of your little man!
ad_06- Sounds like the doctors and specialists have everything under control and you are in great hands!!! Everything should work out perfectly!!
Almost there.. Good luck and hope you get lots of follies.
mommyin10
Wow!! 4 months already... how time flies! Congratulations :)
Keyan

What is a mock transfer?
Sorry can't help you regarding metformin, havent taken it. Good luck and SSBD!!
My update. u/s showed largest follicle size 12 and endometrium size 6.6. Still a few days of stimming to go...
My mock transfer and Baseline has been scheduled for 7/1 retrival for 7/18. I was prescribed Metformin, Femara, Prometrium, Follistim 900 iu, Question... Anybody used Metformin Before. I googled it and it's suppose to be something for Diabetes ???? Asked my Nurse and she claims that after researching it they found that you have a better chance getting a BFP. Anybody used any of theses meds before? They are all new to me. I have used others in my past cycles...
Krichar- Congrats again what a blessing!!!!
kirchar-YEAH for the BFP! I am so excited for you. I can't wait for your beta results. yeah yeah yeah. Just great news on a crappy day! I'm so happy.
mommyin10- You got it. Both my sisters are much younger. The youngest one that started it all is only 22.
ad_06- You are right. Life is a little less stressful without them in my life. I love them but I'm better off and so is my daughter. She doesn't need that drama in her life. I want to protect her from all of it! As for the irregular heartbeat... it sounds like they are really on top; of things and I guess that is all you can ask for right now. Once he gets here and find out for sure that he is just perfect (and he will be) you'll be at ease. :) It's coming so soon.... I'm excited for you too!
Yeah the place on his brain is suppose to measure 1 cm and his measured 1.3 cm, so it's not like there was a huge difference. I think it's called something magnum? It's the part of the brain that controls body movement. The 1st U/S he wasn't too worried about it because he said the brain was developed well....he said that if it weren't developed and he had that little bit of enlargement then he'd be worried. So hopefully with this next U/S everything looks good!
Sebastian (my 10 year old) had the same thing...I couldn't watch him get scoped...I turned away. They thought his vocal cords got scratched when the were suctioning him after he was born because same thing. Very scratchy voice...but cute. He also threw up all the time which they thought was irratating the "supposive" scratch. When they put the scope up his nose and down his throat (I am not gonna lie...I cried) but all was good. And after it was done he was fine...it was like it never happened. So the light at the end of the tunnel is he is probably fine and it will bother you more than it will bother him...He won't remember!
So, I made an appt for Ricky to see the ENT doc for July 2. I hate for him to have to be scoped, but hopefully it'll prove he's just fine & only has a cute, raspy voice ;-)
trh0819: Welcome & congrats!!! =)
krichar: Your +hpt pic is great! It's SO totally positive :) I totally understand testing again & again! I tested the morning of my beta too :) Haha!
ad_06: It sounds like Conner's doing well & your docs are on top of everything :) Did I tell you both Ricky & Ava had the spots on their brains, too? I can't think of the name... Anyway, they went away by the next check. I was told it's pretty common to see them early on. Let's pray that's Conner's result too ;) You're getting SO close to meeting your little guy!!! :)
keyan: It's good to hear from you & that you'll soon see an RE! Sorry about the cyst ;( but hopefully it'll clear up quick & you'll be well on your way :) Thanks for the happy 4 months to my little ones. It's hard to believe... They're growing so fast!!!
kirchar - Congrats on the BFP!!!!
trh0819 - Welcome to this thread....these are really amazing women!!! Congrats on your BFP!
sbumblebeeo - I am sorry you have to deal with people like that! I know where you are coming from though. I haven't talked to my sister since she called and jumped me about something I had written on FB, which wasn't even anything to do with her, she was just assuming. After all the stuff that has been going on in the past month with her and her daughter I am glad I no longer really talk to her. My life is so much less stressful. I mean I love my sister, but I can't believe the things that she has said about me and the way she has started to treat me. I don't even try to make sense of it anymore. Again I'm sorry hun!! Hugs
So I had my appt with the pediatric cardiologist again and Conner's heartbeat is still a little irregular....but he said that it wasn't anything high risk and he sees no reason that I can't deliver with my regular Ob, he said that after he is born that I can come to his clinic for a follow up just to be safe. I go back for anohter Echo at 36 weeks.....I also saw the High Risk Ob and he ordered another U/S for 36 weeks too just to see if that thingy on his brain has gotten any bigger. I also asked them if it were okay to deliver with my regular Ob and they said as of right now it looks good. So I go back to my regular Ob the 22nd and I go back for the U/S and Echo on July 1st.....I am hoping that he will be here the 1st weeks of July =D that would be nice.....lol
Have a great weekend ladies <3
Welcome to this thread!!! There is a great group of ladies that are a wonderful support...All different stages of mommyhood!!!
I am so excited...yet cautious!!! Who would have thought it would happen again...I think I am still in shock! I pray this little pea pod sticks and STAYS!!! LOL. I can't believe my Beta is still 5 days away...I wwill probably go get more tests and for sure will test the same "sample" I give the lab so there are no surprises...But i am sure there won't be!!! YAY ME!!!!! Finally
New to the group. Got my first BFP today after IVF. Woo hoo! So inspired by your comments.
Thanks so much...I am still in shock!!
krichar: YAY!!!!! awsome news! congrats!! I really hope is a sticky BFP!! good luck on Wed!! ;o)
Mommyin10: hey you! thanks for the note on FB. I've been quite busy here. but all is good. Yesterday was my appt. I have a cyst, the doc will ck on it right after AF and hopefully it will go away and then he will give me the referral to the RE. when he saw me yesterday, the first thing he asked for, was if I was Pregnant!! he know is important to send me to an RE, but he wants to send me without any cysts! happy 4-month to Ava and Ricky!!
Guesito: YAY for AF!!, just this time though! ;o)
Kmcarino: I am sorry your doc is not cooperating with you, hopefully your baby will make a grand entrance this weekend!!
Sbumbleebleo: I am really sorry your family is adding to the stress you are in right now, you sure don't need it!
Luvkayln: any updates?! I miss you!!
Dnikki: this weekend we are expecting over 10inch. of rain! this hurricane season has started to active this year! How is the cleaning up process going down there? Say Hi to your Dh from us! the other day we were talking about you guys and your visit ;-) we can't beleive how big Peyton is already!! time flys!
krichar- Congratulations! That is great news!
mommyin10- Yes, I was 40 weeks yesterday. I am hoping he is born between now and Sunday. I still have not had any contractions. My doc is away until Wed. so I hope it happens while she is away so I don't have to see her.
GUESITO- I also had a mock transfer and it is definitely beneficial to have one. Good luck to you!
Omg! Omg! That's totally a BFP!!! You started with a negative! =) I'm so excited & hopeful for you! =) Mine started with a faint + too... I couldn't help but test every day after that til my beta ;-) Stay relaxed & hydrated & stick, baby, stick!!!
Thanks so much...I am so nervous. I hope all goes well. I think if the line gets darker i will be more excited...just don't know if i would be able to take any bad news!! But for rught now I am pregnant and loving it!!!
Congratulations!!! A faint BFP is still a BFP, Its probably too early and different hpt's read differently. Im sure you are ok....Specially having symptoms, I think we have another Preggo in the house!!!!! Whoooo hoooooo congratulations again!!!
Today was my big hpt day and I got a faint BFP!!! I am cautiously excited. Up here in the great white North at my clinic for FET the beta is just a first morning urine. I have a fun little pee cup to bring in on June 23...but you can put your money on the fact that I will test that morning too, so there are no surprises!!!
Geez, it doesn't sound fair. Are these younger sisters?? How supportive were they while you were on bedrest & when Shelby was born? It sounds like they need to grow up a bit... So sorry you're having to stress over "stuff" right now. You are so right! One smile from your sweetie erases all worries, even if only for the moment... They are so amazing & precious :) Hang in there!!!

My babies are 4 months old today! Wow, time flies... We're taking them to our friends' house today. I'm finally getting my hair cut! I'm so over-do ;-) Luckily my friend does it from her home, so we can visit with our little ones. It'll be a fun day :)
krichar: Thinking of you!!! Best wishes for a +hpt! :)
Thanks so much...I hope so too!!! I am really excited to test tomorrow. I will probably wake up in the middle of the night because i won't be able sleep.
mommyin10- I can't believe how thirsty I am!!!! I have been trying to keep drinking (water and juice only of course...lol) but it is hard with the turning tummy. I really hope this is all a good sign!! I will let you all know tomorrow morning.
sbumblebeeo- I am so sorry you are going through this...I know it must be really difficult! Is there a way that you and dh could possibly work opposite shifts? That is what we did for a few years to avoid the daycare situation. If not...don't leave her where you are not comfortable. Have you thought of opening your own dayhome? A lot of people here do that. It is an option...possibly.
kmcarino- I sure hope things go smoothly for you...You do what you feel is right! I pray you have a smooth and non-streeful delivery!
